Microsoft has announced that it is planning to launch 'Office 2021' later this year for both Windows and Mac machines. As per the company, Office 2021 will be available to purchase for single users as well as business users later this year, but the company has not revealed an exact release date or pricing information yet. Office 2021 will also be supported for five years with the traditional 'one-time purchase' model.

Office 2021 will be accompanied by Office LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel), which is a new version of Microsoft Office that's being introduced for commercial customers. Office LTSC will bring accessibility improvements, dark mode in multiple apps, and general performance improvements across Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Finally, as Microsoft is promising the Office 2021 will be supported for five years, giving you peace of mind you can spend the cash and be guaranteed to have a version of Office that will receive bug fixes and security updates until 2026.
