Microsoft's AI-powered chatbot Bing, is now supporting voice chat on desktops in five languages, and more to come. By clicking the microphone icon in the chat box and choosing "Allow" for microphone access, users can utilise the feature. Bing can also answer text-to-speech queries in its own voice. In order to enhance the feature, which is accessible anywhere, Microsoft is looking for feedback.
The blog post by Microsoft announcing the new feature reads, "We know many of you love using voice input for chat on Mobile. It’s now also available on desktop by clicking on the microphone icon in the Bing Chat box. We currently support English, Japanese, French, German, and Mandarin, with more languages on the way. Try asking Bing Chat, “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
Moreover, the company said that Bing Chat also supports text-to-speech answers, which will respond to your questions in its own voice. Microsoft has again increased Bing Chat's turn limit to 30 chats per session and 300 chats per day. Over the past couple of months, the company has gradually increased the chatbot's limit to enhance its usability.
