Mohit Bohra from Gujarat triumphed in the inaugural National Poker Champion (NPC) Showdown, which concluded recently in Goa. The event saw the top 12 performers from the National Poker Series India 2025 compete for the coveted title, with Bohra coming out on top.

At 32, Bohra’s journey in poker began after he shifted focus from his family business and a start-up to the mind sport. His strategic thinking and determination helped him rise through the ranks, making a name for himself in the poker world. His victory at the NPC Showdown marks the peak of his career, showcasing his competitive edge and skill.

Bohra’s win earned him a grand prize of ₹1 crore, along with an exclusive perk—free entry for all players from his home state of Gujarat into the upcoming ₹1 crore tournament hosted on PokerBaazi.

“Winning the National Poker Champion Showdown is a dream come true.
