Much hyped Nothing Phone 1, has Something to offer
The Nothing Phone (1) is launched in the mid-range segment with a starting price of Rs 32,999. The handset will be available in India via Flipkart and offline stores in the Black and White colour option.
The company’s CEO Carl Pei, who is also the co-founders of OnePlus, has been making big promises about Nothing’s first smartphone. The device comes in three RAM and storage variants. According to the official announcement, the device will be available for sale in India starting July 21 at 7 PM IST.
Experts says, the smartphone market has evolved significantly in the last two years. The mid-range segment–which we have categorised as phones starting over Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000– is buzzing with new phones. Nothing phone (1) plays in the higher end of this segment, where the competition is intense with brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus and Realme all offering good options.
Nothing phone(1) comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB model will be up for grabs at Rs 32,999 and the 8GB + 256GB storage model will be available for sale at Rs 35,999. While the top-of-the line 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost you Rs 38,999. The USP the phone is it comes with a cute-looking rear panel with a transparent design.
The front and back panel is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The frame of the phone is said to be made out of recycled aluminium and the handset offers IP53 certification that makes it water and dust resistance. The most interesting part of the smartphone is the LED strip lights pattern which is powered by the Glyph Interface.
The phone also has an unique feature ,such as, it triggers the silent mode as soon as you flip it and the Glyph Interface lights can let you know about the notifications and incoming calls. It bags a massive 4500mAh battery with 33W PD3.0 wired charging and 15W Qi wireless charging. It also offers 5W reverse charging.
