As per the latest information, NetApp has appointed Peter Howard as new Channel Chief for the firm. Earlier, Peter was serving NetApp as Vice-President of global channel sales for about eight years.
Peter filled the shoes of Todd Palmer, former NetApp Vice-President of American channels. Todd took over as head of worldwide sales at Endace last month.
Mark Teter, CTO of Advanced Systems Group, a Denver-based solution provider and NetApp partner, said, “Howard has had a good tenure at NetApp. I am excited to see him in that new role. He has been a good friend of the channel and a passionate businessman."
Peter inherits a strong channel legacy at NetApp. To the reader's surprise, over 80 per cent of NetApp's sales come via indirect channels.
