The project aims to combine NTT DATA’s global data centre expertise with Neysa’s AI acceleration platform to co-develop AI-first solutions, boosting India’s digital and technological infrastructure significantly.
In a major boost to India’s digital infrastructure, Japanese IT giant NTT DATA and AI cloud startup Neysa Networks have partnered with the Telangana government to build a cutting-edge AI data centre in Hyderabad. The announcement was made following a high-level meeting in Tokyo, where Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy formalised the NTT DATA Neysa partnership through a tripartite agreement.
The ambitious ₹10,500 crore project is set to develop a massive 400 MW data centre cluster equipped with 25,000 GPUs, enabling advanced AI processing and high-performance computing capabilities. The facility will play a key role in supporting India’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem, positioning NTT DATA Hyderabad as a central hub for AI innovation and enterprise solutions.
This collaboration is a strategic move that blends NTT DATA’s global leadership in data centre infrastructure with Neysa’s AI acceleration platform to co-create AI-first solutions. The goal is to build a resilient, scalable, and future-ready digital framework that empowers industries to adopt AI-driven technologies.
According to the Telangana government, this initiative also aligns with India’s larger vision of becoming a global AI powerhouse. The Neysa AI investment signals growing international confidence in India’s tech ecosystem and underlines Hyderabad’s rising status as a premier destination for data-driven innovation.
The AI data centre Hyderabad project is expected to generate high-value employment, attract further foreign investments, and catalyse the growth of India’s AI and cloud computing landscape. As the demand for AI-powered applications continues to surge across sectors, this partnership marks a pivotal step toward building the country’s next-generation digital backbone.
