NXP Semiconductors, a world leader in secure connectivity solutions for embedded applications, has recently announced that it has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services and signed an MoU towards creating leading-edge solutions that will help customers, complementing the technology leadership of both the companies. The MoU will see both NXP and TCS to identify and create unique solutions that will be co-created for the Automotive, Security and IoT industry.
The agreement between NXP, headquartered in Eindhove, the Netherlands, and TCS, headquartered in Mumbai, will see both organizations combine their individual efforts in Security, Internet of Things (IoT) and automotive. To achieve a mindshare between both the companies and to develop a conducive ecosystem for customers, a series of joint workshop at TCS innovation labs in India (Pune, Bangalore, Delhi) or in NXP Labs, involving the right SMEs and business leaders will be executed.
Speaking of the agreement, Sanjay Gupta, Vice-President & India Country Manager, NXP India, said, “This MoU is a great opportunity for two giants, NXP Semiconductors and TCS to collaborate and solve complex problems in high-technology areas. It would also enable us to synergize our technical prowess and venture into several new and disruptive business domains that will support our customers more meaningfully.”
Through the collaboration, NXP and TCS are focusing on systemically expanding the technology ecosystem, with the help of both the companies’ expertise in the sector of Security, Internet of Things (IoT) and automotive. The collaboration will also help drive advancement of the key solution areas that will yield results across industry and geographic markets.
