OpenAI launches ChatGPT Enterprise
2023-08-29OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Enterprise for businesses. The offering will provide the much-needed enterprise-grade security and privacy that companies have been seeking from AI chatbots. The ChatGPT Enterprise will also offer unlimited higher-speed GPT-4 access, longer context windows for processing longer inputs, advanced data analysis capabilities, and customisation options among others.
“We believe AI can assist and elevate every aspect of our working lives and make teams more creative and productive. Today marks another step towards an AI assistant for work that helps with any task, is customised for your organisation, and that protects your company data,” the company said.
According to OpenAI, business leaders wanted a simple and safe way of deploying ChatGPT in their organisation.
Early users of ChatGPT Enterprise include Block, Canva, Carlyle, The Estée Lauder Companies, PwC, and Zapier.
OpenAI further said that businesses will own and control their data in ChatGPT Enterprise. The Microsoft-backed company won’t train on business’ data or conversations. All conversations in ChatGPT Enterprise are encrypted in transit and at rest.
“Our new admin console lets you manage team members easily and offers domain verification, SSO, and usage insights, allowing for large-scale deployment into enterprise,” it said.
