PCCW Global and Huawei launch Global HD Video Communications Centre

PCCW Global and Huawei have launched their new Global High Definition Video Communications Centre in Hong Kong.

This leading-edge facility, located at Telecom House in Wanchai, Hong Kong, showcases a full range of the latest innovative HD calling, conferencing, and collaboration solutions, available on multiple devices including telepresence rooms, conferencing terminals, tablets, and smartphones.

PCCW Global is one of the first service providers globally to offer a point-to-point cross-private network video calling service that makes communicating in HD as familiar and easy to use as making a traditional voice call. An employee can simply dial the number of another video user either within or outside their own organization, locally or abroad, and connect in HD with no need for a pre-set time or conference bridge to be arranged.
