Prashant Prakash joins Global Infonet as new CEO

By VARINDIA - 2013-12-20

Global Infonet has announced appointment of Prashant Prakash as new CEO of the company. In his new role, Prashant will work closely with the Global Infonet management team to deploy the best global practices and other existing assets and steer their efficient development.

Chandra Shekar, Group Chairman, Global Distribution, said, “I am excited with Prashant Prakash joining us as Chief Executive Officer at Global Infonet Distribution Pvt. Ltd., Prashant's leadership and guidance will further take the company to the next level. It will enhance the quality of overall strategic and operational planning for optimal business results. His rich experience will further rapidly increase our market presence and will penetrate into emerging markets in India with an empowered team of functional leaders and clearly defined focus area.”

In his last assignment, he was the AVP & Country Head at HCL Infosystems Ltd.
