The producer of all time comedy hit Andaaz Apna Apna, Vinay Sinha passed away on January 24 in a multispecialty hospital in Bandra. He was 71.
He had a heart history, but despite being ill he was working, said his daughter Priti Sinha. He was in hospital two days back due to stomach complain, but was discharged. He passed away in sleep last afternoon.
Sinha, the vice president of IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producer’s Association), had produced Chor Police (1983), Naseeb (1997) among a few and a few television shows as well.
Salman Khan, Kabir Bedi, Amir Khan were among the few who poured in their condolences on Twitter.
The last rites of the producer were performed on Friday and a prayer meeting will be held on 28 January.
