QNAP launches VioStor NVR Firmware v4.1.0 to lower Storage Cost
QNAP Security has announced the release of new VioStor NVR firmware v4.1.0 with features such as storage expansion solution, smart recording, user-defined multi-stream set up, etc.
VioStor NVR firmware v4.1.0 provides a great solution to expand the storage capacity of VioStor NVR with QNAP Turbo NAS. By installing the Storage Expansion app (QPKG) on the Turbo NAS, administrators can connect the VioStor NVR with the Turbo NAS via network to flexibly enlarge the total storage capacity of VioStor NVR. The increasing demands for Full HD video recording and long-term video retention result in greater storage needs, and this storage expansion solution is provided right to fulfil those needs,” said Andrew Yu, Product Manager, QNAP Security.
