The multinational paint company, which has more than 3,600 employees, manages a distribution network of more than 25,000 dealers. In response to an increase in suspicious network traffic, the company wanted to strengthen its security defenses. According to Radware’s 2022 Global Threat Analysis Report, malicious DDoS attacks rose by 150% compared to 2021. The frequency of DDoS attacks also saw a significant and concerning uptick. Globally, organizations mitigated an average of 29 attacks per day during the fourth quarter of 2022, 3.5 times more compared to 8 attacks per day at the end of 2021.
