Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series in May 2025, One UI 8 integrates Galaxy AI innovations designed to simplify daily routines, improve user interactions, and deliver personalized suggestions in real time. By September, Samsung will extend the beta to even more devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and Galaxy A54. One UI 8 introduces smarter, more intuitive AI capabilities with multimodal support, allowing the interface to understand real-time context for natural interactions. Paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Galaxy Buds3 Pro, users can activate Google Gemini AI through voice commands or by long-pressing an earbud, unlocking powerful AI assistance on the go.
Designed to maximize the potential of Galaxy’s diverse form factors, One UI 8 boosts productivity, enhances multitasking, and offers proactive, context-aware recommendations. Its clean, adaptive interface is optimized for flagship models, foldables, and mid-range Galaxy devices.
The official One UI 8 rollout is scheduled to begin in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series and expanding to other eligible models in phases. Samsung plans to incorporate user feedback from the beta program to refine features and improve performance.
Additionally, One UI 8 Watch will arrive on more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year, introducing advanced health tracking, motivational fitness insights, and a more refined smartwatch interface. With this expansion, Samsung is reinforcing its position as a leader in mobile AI innovation, foldable phone technology, and user-centric software design for the global smartphone market.
