Tata Communications and Telecom Italia launch LTE Roaming Service

To simplify global roaming complexity, Tata Communications has, in association with Telecom Italia Sparkle, announced the implementation of LTE roaming between two IPX providers. This will help to extend the global community of interconnected LTE-enabled mobile network operators (MNOs) as 4G adoption continues to grow.
 
This peering will enable the exchange of LTE roaming traffic between Tata Communications and Telecom Italia Sparkle’s networks and help creating an interconnected infrastructure that combines the quality and security of the respective IPX networks.

The roaming peering between the two companies will support live traffic including signalling, voice and data roaming, as well as end-to-end QoS. The end-to-end managed solution will simplify roaming interconnect to deliver a seamless user experience and assure service continuity as mobile operators migrate to 4G.
