Tecno has introduced its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the Pova Curve 5G, in the Indian market. Featuring a premium design and strong performance credentials, the handset will go on sale from June 5, catering to users seeking cutting-edge features at an accessible price point.
The Pova Curve 5G debuts in two variants — 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, priced at ₹15,999 and ₹16,999 respectively. The base model will be available exclusively on Flipkart, while the higher-end version will retail through offline stores.
Specifications
Sporting a futuristic "starship-inspired" look, the Pova Curve 5G is slim at just 7.45mm and comes in three striking colours: Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Neon Cyan. The device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits peak brightness, offering an immersive viewing experience. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 adds an extra layer of durability.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 8GB physical RAM and support for up to 16GB virtual RAM via memory expansion. Storage remains fixed at 128GB across both models.
Cameras and battery
On the imaging front, the Pova Curve 5G features a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor on the rear, supported by AI-driven enhancements for superior photography. A 13MP front camera is centrally placed within a punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls.
Battery life is backed by a 5,500mAh unit with 45W fast charging support. The device also introduces Tecno’s Intelligent Signal Hub, aiming to deliver stable network connectivity in low-signal areas.
Additional highlights include IP64-rated dust and splash resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Tecno’s AI voice assistant Ella, along with smart features like Voiceprint Suppression and Auto Call Answering.
