Apple has introduced a new privacy feature called 'Rotate Wi-Fi Address' aimed at enhancing user privacy. iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia are the most recent operating systems from Apple that include the 'Rotate Wi-Fi Address' capability. In order to resist tracking attempts, this privacy feature replaced the former 'Private Wi-Fi Address' option by randomly altering the user's Wi-Fi address. Apple attempted to thwart cross-network tracking by manipulating the consistency of Wi-Fi addresses.
