1. How is the Data Recovery market in India doing currently? What are some of the trends that shape this market in the country?
We have seen tremendous growth in Data Recovery Market during recent years. With more and more consumers starting to rely on digital media to store their data, the requirement of data recovery solutions/ services have increased many folds. The introduction of smart phones, tablets and memory cards have completely changed the market trend.
2. What kind of a market share do you enjoy in this space?
Unistal is known for its data recovery software and services. Our product Quick recovery is listed among the top ten data recovery products available in the world. Quick Recovery not only has decent market share in India, it is an established brand in the International market. Today we are exporting Quick Recovery range of products to almost 130 Countries.
3. What is your strategy to keep yourself ahead of competition? What kind of products and solutions do you have at present?
We always develop technology advanced product at any point of time. We keep on adding new products according to the user’s contemporary needs. Recently, we have launched Quick Recovery for VMware and advance version of Quick Recovery for PDF. Today, we have almost 40 different products available under Quick Recovery Brand. We have Quick Recovery available for platforms like – Windows, Linux, Novell and Macintosh. Apart from this we have Quick Recovery email conversion software, email recovery software, file repair and database repair software and many more.
4. What is your go-to-market strategy?
We are now engaged in increasing our market reach. We have tied up with many B2C sites, which are directly or indirectly selling software solutions. This apart we have our own web portals promoting our data recovery software and services. The purpose of this program is to create awareness among the end users, increase our profits and deliver robust and user’s friendly solutions.
5. Where is the next level of growth likely to come in for your company? Which are the business verticals that you find yourself strong in?
We are working on a business model where we can appoint Unistal franchisee in different parts of the country. These franchisees would work as Data Recovery Centres and would provide data recovery services within their respective territories. We are targeting over 500 data recovery centres franchisee within next 6 to 8 months. Currently we have appointed 45 in last two and half months.
We also have tie-ups with major corporate and government organisations. We provide data recovery services & solutions to their complete IT infrastructure across India and overseas.
6. What are some of the challenges you see in positioning yourself in the market?
With growing demand of data recovery software and services we can foresee many small players in data recovery services. Such companies don’t have expertise but can give you stiff competition in positioning yourself in the market. The second challenge is to continuously update the old products as per new technology.
