Vodafone introduces 3G in partial Kerela
2011-06-23Vodafone Essar Ltd. has rolled out its 3G services in selected towns in Kerala. In the first phase of the launch, Vodafone 3G services is said to be available in Ernakulam, Aluva, Kozhikode, Quilandy, Alappuzha, Cherthala, Malappuram and Manjeri, while the rest of the locations will follow shortly in a phased manner.
As an introductory offer for customers to experience the convenience of 3G, Vodafone claims to offer double of the normal free data allowed on select packs until July 31. To know about 3G and tariff plans, customers can dial (toll-free number) 116 from their Vodafone numbers. There are numerous avenues for the consumer to have faster access to entertainment, better fulfilment of their information needs and a smarter way to communicate while on the go.
