Motorola has entered India’s ultra-premium smartphone segment with the launch of the Signature series, combining a DXOMARK-certified triple Sony camera system, luxury design, AI-driven features, and exclusive lifestyle privileges for discerning users.
Motorola has unveiled the Motorola Signature in India, positioning it as its most premium smartphone yet. The device is aimed at consumers seeking top-tier performance, luxury craftsmanship, and advanced imaging capabilities, alongside a broader lifestyle-driven ecosystem.
At the core of the Signature is the world’s only Triple Sony LYTIA Pro-Grade camera system, which has received DXOMARK Gold Label certification. With a camera score of 164, the device claims the top position in India’s sub-₹1,00,000 smartphone camera segment. The setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 100x zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide macro camera, and a 50MP front-facing camera supporting 4K video.
The camera system supports Dolby Vision video recording, Pantone-validated colour accuracy, and AI-assisted photography features designed to enhance low-light, motion, and group shots.
Premium design, performance and AI features
The Motorola Signature features an ultra-thin 6.99mm design, crafted with aircraft-grade aluminium and fabric-inspired finishes. It is available in Pantone-curated colours, including Martini Olive and Carbon, each offering distinct textures for a luxury feel.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone also includes a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and peak brightness of 6,200 nits.
Motorola has integrated moto ai 2.0, offering contextual assistance, creative tools, productivity features, and compatibility with platforms such as Copilot, Perplexity, and Google Gemini.
Lifestyle privileges and ecosystem expansion
A key differentiator is the introduction of Signature Club, a one-year complimentary privilege service offering lifestyle assistance across travel, dining, wellness, and concierge services. Motorola has also launched the moto watch powered by Polar, focusing on wellness tracking and premium design.
Speaking on the launch, T.M. Narasimhan, Managing Director, Motorola India, said,
“With the Motorola Signature, we are creating a new benchmark for ultra-premium smartphones in India, one that goes far beyond specifications…”
Pricing and availability
The Motorola Signature will go on sale starting January 30, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola.in, and offline retail stores. Prices start at an effective launch price of ₹54,999, with variants going up to ₹69,999.
