Organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), IMC 2025 is expected to attract over 1.5 lac visitors and also IMC to Spotlight 1,000+ Tech Use Cases and 500+ Startups.
Union Minister for Communications and Development of North East Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, officially announced the theme for the 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 — ‘Innovate to Transform’. Scheduled to be held from 8th to 11th October 2025 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, IMC 2025 aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and transformative growth in India’s digital and telecom landscape.
The theme emphasizes innovation as the cornerstone of India’s transformation journey, promoting sustainable growth and inclusive development through digital empowerment. Minister Scindia highlighted that IMC will offer immense exposure to domestic industries, global tech manufacturers, international investors, and Indian consumers, reinforcing India’s status as a digital powerhouse.
Highlighting the growing participation in IMC, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Chairman DCC and Secretary (Telecom), Department of Telecommunications (DoT), stated that our Hon’ble Prime Minister has consistently emphasized that technology will be the driving force in achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the event is expected to draw over 1.5 lakh visitors from 150+ countries, host 400+ exhibitors and partners, and feature 7,000+ global delegates.
A major highlight of IMC 2025 will be the ASPIRE programme, launched in 2023, which will spotlight 500+ startups and connect them with 300+ investors, incubators, and VCs. The program will facilitate live pitching, mentorship, and strategic networking opportunities to nurture the next wave of tech innovation.
The event will also showcase 1,000+ cutting-edge technology use cases across domains like 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, green tech, and electronics manufacturing. With 100+ conference sessions and 800+ speakers, IMC will serve as a global forum for policy dialogue, innovation exchange, and industry advancement.
Additionally, Shri Scindia launched the Sanchar Mitra Scheme, a student-volunteer-led citizen awareness initiative, and conferred the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Telecom Excellence Awards, celebrating achievements in India’s telecom sector. IMC 2025 builds on the success of its 2024 edition, which saw participation from over 175,000 attendees across 120+ countries, further solidifying India’s growing leadership in the global digital economy.
