The 7 MW Panchkula data center, launched by Anant Raj Cloud, boosts the firm’s total capacity to 28 MW, alongside its upgraded Manesar facility, reinforcing its commitment to scaling digital infrastructure through its Bharat Built growth initiative
Real estate and infrastructure company Anant Raj Limited has expanded its footprint in India’s digital infrastructure space with the launch of its second data center facility in Panchkula, Haryana. The new center adds 7 megawatts (MW) of IT load capacity, bringing the company's total operational capacity to 28 MW across two locations.
The Panchkula facility, operated through its technology arm Anant Raj Cloud, complements the company’s existing Manesar data center, which recently scaled up from 6 MW to 21 MW. Together, these sites mark a significant step in the company’s long-term digital growth strategy.
Both data centers form part of Anant Raj’s “Bharat Built: Soil to Server” initiative, an ambitious plan to deliver 310 MW of data center capacity nationwide by 2032. The initiative is supported by a proposed investment of ₹180 billion (approximately USD 2.1 billion).
To showcase its infrastructure capabilities, the company will host a two-day event, Bharat Built: Soil to Server, on August 1–2, 2025. The event will highlight Tier-III and Tier-IV compliant systems at the Panchkula and Manesar sites, designed to meet the rising demand for secure, scalable, and sustainable data hosting.
India’s data center market is projected to reach 3 gigawatts (GW) by 2030, but experts estimate demand could grow to over 6 GW by 2033. According to Avendus Capital, this could result in a 1.5 GW supply gap—opening doors for companies like Anant Raj to fill critical infrastructure needs.
The company’s data center operations began in September 2023 with its Manesar facility and have since gained momentum. It also partnered with Orange Business to provide managed cloud services, further strengthening its role in India’s digital transformation landscape.
