Applied Micro Circuits Corp. has opened its new Bangalore design center. The operation is said to drive advanced design and development of AppliedMicro's computing and connectivity solutions and provide significant value to its technology capabilities. This is the company's second design center in India after Pune.
AppliedMicro's newest design center is expected to enable the company to meet the explosive demand for 'Just-Right' compute and connectivity products for enterprise and cloud data centers through the development of new products. These new products will dramatically reduce energy and the total cost of ownership (TCO) of data center infrastructure by striking the optimal blend of performance, density and power consumption.
