The long-term partnership will focus on helping Indian MSMEs better understand business-grade computing, adopt technology as a strategic investment and provide ASUS with insights into the evolving needs of small businesses.
ASUS India has appointed Rajiv Talreja, MSME expert and Founder of Quantum Leap, as the Mentor for its MSME segment, as the company seeks to strengthen the positioning of its Expert Series PCs among small and medium-sized businesses.
The long-term collaboration is aimed at helping MSME leaders address technology-related challenges and make more informed decisions around business computing. Talreja will work with ASUS to help communicate the role of business-grade PCs in improving productivity, security, collaboration and operational continuity.
Talreja brings extensive experience working with the MSME community. Through Quantum Leap’s training and coaching programmes, he has worked with more than 12 lakh business owners, giving him an understanding of the operational and technology challenges faced by businesses at different stages of growth.
ASUS said the partnership follows more than a year of engagement between the two organisations. As part of the evaluation process, Talreja and the Quantum Leap team used ASUS Expert Series machines within their own organisation before finalising the collaboration. An independent survey conducted among the MSME community also indicated a gap in awareness around business-grade PCs.
Addressing the business PC awareness gap
According to ASUS, many small businesses and professionals continue to purchase consumer-oriented laptops through conventional and modern retail channels, despite having requirements around durability, performance, security, battery life, upgradability and after-sales support.
The company said its Expert Series was developed to address this gap by providing business-focused computing solutions designed around enterprise requirements. The portfolio combines security, manageability and durability features aimed at reducing downtime and lowering the total cost of ownership over the device lifecycle.
As part of the new collaboration, Talreja will serve as a bridge between ASUS and the MSME ecosystem, helping educate business owners about viewing technology as a long-term investment. He will also provide feedback to ASUS on changing requirements across the segment.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Sharma, Vice President, ASUS Commercial PC Business for India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, said, “At ASUS, we have shared vision with Rajiv to empower Indian MSMEs to have Globally leading capabilities. We jointly believe MSMEs will be a key driver for India’s Economic Growth.
PCs are a key driver of Business Success and are getting more relevant in the AI Age. We are determined to educate MSMEs to choose ASUS Expert Series PCs designed to deliver a truly ‘Worry-Free Business Experience’ with secure, high-performance, and resilient computing platforms designed to maximize workforce productivity. This collaboration goes far beyond and deeper than mere marketing communication, we are committed to continuously gain MSME insights from Rajiv, innovate and strengthen our value proposition, empowering MSMEs to achieve their true growth potential.”
Expert Series focuses on business computing
Rajiv Talreja, Founder at Quantum Leap & Voice of MSMEs, said, “I’ve said no to every brand that’s approached me over the years, because I value the trust we have gained from business owners over 20 years. ASUS asked a different question. Not whether I’d promote them, but whether I’d tell them what MSMEs actually need. We spent more than a year on that conversation. We surveyed our own community and found the same gap they mentioned: most owners don’t know a business PC is even a category, and they’re running their companies on machines built for home use. Before agreeing to anything, we bought Expert Series machines for our own team and the team gave me good reviews. My role as Mentor is to ensure the business owners’ voice reaches the people building their machines, and to help them view technology as an investment rather than an expense.”
The ASUS Expert Series is positioned around secure, high-performance and resilient computing for MSMEs. Its business-focused features include enterprise-grade security, remote manageability and durability, with the company aiming to simplify IT operations, minimise downtime and reduce total ownership costs across hybrid work environments.
