The new HD Ready smart TV targets compact rooms and budget-conscious buyers, offering QLED visuals, Dolby-style surround sound, AI-powered content discovery, and access to hundreds of OTT apps through JioTele OS.
Blaupunkt has expanded its smart television portfolio in India with the launch of a new 32-inch HD Ready QLED Smart TV, aimed at consumers looking for feature-rich options for compact living spaces and secondary viewing rooms.
The latest model brings QLED display technology to the entry-level segment, featuring HDR support, a bezel-less design, and brightness levels of up to 350 nits. The company said the television is designed to deliver improved clarity, vibrant colours, and better contrast, positioning it as a cinematic upgrade over conventional HD Ready televisions.
Focus on immersive audio and content access
The television comes equipped with 36W stereo box speakers paired with surround sound technology to enhance audio performance across different content formats. Users can switch between multiple sound modes—Standard, Sport, Movie, and Music—depending on viewing preferences.
Running on JioTele OS, the smart TV provides access to the Jio Store, which offers more than 400 OTT applications, 400 live TV channels, and over 300 casual games. The operating system also includes an AI-powered recommendation engine that analyses viewing habits and suggests personalised content based on user preferences, languages, and regional tastes.
Designed for Indian users and price-sensitive buyers
Commenting on the launch, Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO, SPPL, exclusive brand licensee of Blaupunkt in India, said, “Our aim with JioTele OS powered TVs was to simply provide streamlined and content-forward interface that aligns well with Indian viewing preferences. The encouraging response of our larger screen sizes, combined with sustained demand for 32 inch TVs, has reinforced us to extend the JioTele OS to the price-sensitive segment, reaching a wider base audience.”
The television supports multilingual voice search in over 10 Indian languages and ships with a voice-enabled remote featuring dedicated shortcut buttons for popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, JioCinema, and Hotstar.
Powered by an Amlogic processor, along with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, the TV is designed to handle everyday streaming and app usage smoothly.
Pricing and availability
The 32-inch Blaupunkt HD Ready QLED Smart TV powered by JioTele OS is priced at ₹9,699 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
