Arbor Networks Inc. has announced that StarHub, Singapore's fully-integrated info-communication company, has joined Arbor's Cloud Signaling Coalition (CSC). Preventing distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks and mitigating their threat requires collaboration among all stakeholders. The CSC is an innovative partnership between service providers, datacenter operators and enterprises with the mission to ensure the availability of their network infrastructure and speed time-to-mitigation for DDoS attacks.
StarHub offers a full range of information, communications and entertainment services, and operates its own mobile, hybrid fiber-coaxial and fixed business networks. With extensive, business-critical traffic across its multiple networks, the company joined the CSC to be able to offer differentiated managed security services, and reduce the time-to-mitigation and increase the effectiveness of the DDoS threat response.
