Emerson Network Power has announced that it has been recognized as a leader by IDC in MarketScape: Worldwide Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) 2013 Vendor Analysis report.
The IDC MarketScape report recognizes Emerson achieved this recognition by IDC for its current capabilities and future strategy for all of its DCIM solutions. Emerson’s DCIM technology bridges the gap between facilities and IT operations in the data center, allowing IT to be a key player in the execution of the organization’s growth initiatives.
Steve Hassell, President of Emerson Network Power’s Data Center Solutions business, said,

Emerson Network Power’s R&D investment, sales channels, and partnerships within the DCIM ecosystem position its solutions to meet the critical needs of data center availability and agility.
The Trellis platform, in particular, represents the realization of many DCIM wish-lists by delivering a single pane of glass that enables users to monitor, control, and analyze data center assets in real time,” said Jennifer Koppy, Research Manager, IDC.
Earlier this year, IBM and Emerson Network Power teamed up to bring together a complete picture of data center operations.
