Gemalto has been ranked first in ABI Research’s latest competitive assessment of leading suppliers for government and healthcare electronic documents such as smart card and passport, as well as associated solutions and services. The report that established Gemalto’s top ranking takes into account share of the ID market plus the following qualitative criteria:

The company actively contributes to international standards as well as industry groups, and recently founded the Secure Identity Alliance together with other digital ID companies.
