Mumbai based FMCG brand Goldmedal Electricals has introduced i-Touch Wi-Fi Switches, a range of home automation switches that can be controlled manually as well as through a remote control. The switches can also be controlled via mobile app and voice commands, viz. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The company says these switches are easy to install and can be retrofitted into the existing wiring of one’s home – without the need to drill any new holes or re-wiring. These switches are super luxurious in appearance, with the blue backlit LED touch buttons making it easier and convenient to operate the unit in the dark. The glass interface ensures that even the gentlest of touches is enough to operate the switches.
Goldmedal’s i-Touch Wi-Fi switches are equipped with a micro controller chip that saves all the parameters pre-set by the user, hence making it easier to operate. They can also be controlled remotely using a remote control and voice commands from any part of the globe using the i-World mobile app. With the i-World app, a user can control and know the status of and even set scenes that control a series of switches at a pre-defined time.
The Goldmedal i-Touch Wi-Fi switches are available offline at retail outlets for Rs 5,900 onwards.
“With improvement in the overall standard of living, consumers are looking for products and solutions that will reflect their enhanced status in life. The introduction of Goldmedal’s wide range of Home Automation switches and systems gives consumers the chance to incorporate the concept of smart living in their daily lives. Our new and unique home automation products provide a superior way of living for our consumers," said Kishan Jain, Director, Goldmedal Electricals.
