Hitachi Vantara has appointed “Hans-Peter Klaey” as chief revenue officer, to lead its global sales organization and accelerate adoption of its data-driven solutions and services. Klaey will report to Brian Householder, President and COO, Hitachi Vantara.

Speaking on the new appointment Brian Householder, President & COO, Hitachi Vantara, said, “Hitachi’s broad expertise in operational technology combined with our proven IT product and solutions innovation gives our customers a unique partner that can deliver value through data. Hans-Peter’s expansive background in enterprise software sales and experience building and in leading some of the world’s largest and most successful sales organizations will help us transform our go-to-market capabilities so that we can reach more customers, in more markets.”

He has demonstrated his ability to drive exceptional business growth and energize employees and teams to focus on creating unprecedented value for the customer. He has global leadership experience and has great depth and breadth of solution selling experience.

Among other senior executive positions, he has served as senior vice-president and head of sales for HP Software in the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and analytics software solution spaces. The company revealed that, together, A10 Detector, aGalaxy TPS and A10 Mitigator comprise a complete A10 Thunder TPS solution, which enables IT organizations to quickly detect, manage and mitigate attacks. When an attack is detected via an analysis of user traffic by A10 Detector, aGalaxy TPS management is then notified, which triggers A10’s Mitigator with the recommended mitigation templates resulting in fast responses across the attack lifecycle. By understanding and assessing the severity of the attack, the A10 Thunder TPS solution then automates effective escalation and automatically runs countermeasures to help mitigate DDoS attacks before they spread and wreak havoc.

The A10 Thunder TPS solution uses more than three dozen threat intelligence sources to block malicious traffic and monitors performance and security baselines with 28 behavioural indicators – considerably more than major competitors – inspecting suspicious traffic and escalating policies to help avoid legitimate traffic drops and eliminate false positives.

As per the company, the A10 aGalaxy TPS, A10 Thunder TPS Detector and A10 Thunder TPS Mitigator are now available in the market.
