Hitachi consulting has launched its futuristic User experience center at Pune called “MIRAI” meaning Future. MIRAI demonstrates the connected factory and predictive maintenance capabilities of Hitachi Consulting and displays its IoT capabilities to its clients in an experiential manner.
MIRAI focusses on real-time data acquisition, analytics and machine learning and enhances business capabilities by –
§ reducing human intervention in data capturing
§ significantly increasing process analysis capabilities through live Dashboards incorporated with different KPIs and functionalities, and
§ increasing the efficiency of operations by increasing visualization, trend analysis, Alarms & Notifications and ease of communication between stakeholders
Brian Erickson, Senior Vice-President, Global Solutions and Innovation, Hitachi Consulting, inaugurated the user experience center. He said, “The need for innovation to evolve, compete and eventually transform has never been greater and initiatives like HCC hosted user experience centers would only help clients visualize what they can expect out of a digital transformation journey which has to be sustainable.”
Vikas Kaul, Vice-president, Human Capital Management, Hitachi Consulting India and sponsor of MIRAI, said, “IoT is the future and Hitachi is among the leading few organizations in this space. As we make deeper forays in this space, this experience center is geared to provide a real-life touch and feel experience to our clients on how the whole IoT-centered solutions can work for them in real-life scenarios.”
“The core intent of IoT Experience Center is to leverage the power of experiential learning for enabling digital transformations (Industry 4.0) across manufacturing organizations. We leverage this basic set-up to highlight how IoT and analytics can go hand in hand with Lean principles and enhance 'speed' and 'sustainability' of transformations. You will see more solutions around the four pillars hosted at MIRAI in the coming months,” says Dev Ramchandani, Director, Management Consulting and leader of regional solutions development, Hitachi Consulting India.
The aforesaid solution is current available in Android and will soon be available on iOS. Hitachi Consulting is transforming into a Solutions organization with focus on four key pillars – Digital Operations, Digital Customer Experience, Digital Enterprise and Smart Infrastructure. Hitachi Consulting’s Global Solution and Innovation team is already collaborating to build solutions across Hitachi companies – existing as well as newly announced Hitachi business units – and these solutions find support in the Indian market as well.
