Hewlett-Packard (NYSE : HPQ) India has launched a new range of document management scanners in India. Designed for large enterprises with extensive paper-based workflows, these scanners can help streamline and optimize document workflows and lead to increased productivity and reduced operational costs.

HP’s new range of enterprise scanners is targeted at large enterprises in verticals such as telecom, healthcare, banking and financial services, and government departments, where business-critical workflows continue to be paper-based. For example, telecom operators or insurance companies process large volumes of paper-based customer applications and supporting documents. These workflows, when moved to digital through HP enterprise scanners, can be streamlined and optimized leading to reduced costs in document management, and increase in productivity.
The first HP Scanjet Enterprise 7000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner quickly scans up to 45 pages per minute and 90 images per minute in black-and-white, gray scale, and colour. It also automatically improves the accuracy of scanned images with included Kofax Virtual ReScan Pro software. It is priced at INR59,216/-.
The second HP Scanjet Enterprise 7500 Flatbed Scanner can be easily integrated into a document management system and can scan up to 100 pages at a time. It can scan up to 3,000 pages a day, including books, ledgers, notes and cards. It is priced at INR78,699/-.
The third HP Scanjet Enterprise 8500 fn1 Network Scanner is claimed as the world’s fastest Network Scanner. This PC independent enterprise scanner can handle up to 5,000 pages per day and can manage scan jobs directly from the HP Easy Select colour control panel with an integrated keyboard. It comes with leading manageability and security features to control and protect important jobs and is priced at INR1,87,999/-.
The fourth HP Scanjet N9120, A3 Document Scanner is designed for enterprises in a fast-paced environment. It scans up to 5,000 pages a day and features A3 Scanning capability, ultrasonic double feed detection and a 200-page automatic document feeder. It also helps save time by eliminating the need to manually rotate hard-copy pages with hardware page rotation. The scanner is priced at INR1,86,099/-.
