HP has announced that Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) has selected HP Converged Infrastructure to improve the performance of its IT operations to meet the needs of its expanding customer base and accelerate business growth.
Pioneering and leading the growth of India’s credit risk management industry, CIBIL provides CIBIL Report and CIBIL TransUnion Score to more than 1,000 banks and credit institutions, using credit histories of more than 340 million consumer records and more than 17 million commercial records. Almost no bank in India lends without checking the CIBIL Report of an individual or business entity.
To address this, CIBIL selected HP BladeSystem c7000 to consolidate its HP BL 890i4 Unix Blades servers and HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 storage into a converged infrastructure. With improved IT efficiency, the HP solution will enable CIBIL to handle larger volumes of transactions and accelerate the delivery of CIBIL Report and CIBIL TransUnion Scores to its growing customer base.
By deploying HP Converged Infrastructure solutions, CIBIL will be able to shift resources from IT management and maintenance to innovation to continue to deliver provide quality services to its customers, while providing a highly scalable environment that will accommodate growth for the next five years.
