IGX 2018 to be hosted in Mumbai

IGX, the consumer gaming show returns to Mumbai, bringing gamers and tech enthusiasts the blockbuster games, competitive tournaments, and a spotlight on career opportunities in gaming.

The key highlights of IGX are as follows -

· The Expo: Play the latest games, check out cutting-edge gaming hardware, and pick up great gaming merchandise. This year’s line-up of blockbuster games includes Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War, WWE 2K19, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Fortnite, PUBG, Hitman 2 and many more.

· IGX Battles: Compete for top prize at the special IGX Battles competitive gaming arena across tournaments on PS4, PC and mobile. Games include WWE 2K 19, Tekken 7, FIFA 19, and more. IGX Battles will also play host to India’s first 25-player Fortnite Battle Royale tournament on PS4 in partnership with Sony PlayStation, with the overall winner taking home a super-rare 500 Million Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro Console.

· Careers in Gaming: A first-of-its-kind conference to help students and parents learn about the career opportunities in gaming straight from experts in education and the gaming industry. Speakers include representatives from Google, Kongregate, EducationUSA, Ubisoft, Whistling Woods International, and more. IGX visitors interested in studying gaming will also have the opportunity to interact with universities from India and around the world.

· IGX Game Face: India’s largest gaming cosplay event returns to IGX! Dress up as your favourite gaming character, strut your stuff during our IGX Game Face cosplay showcase, and even stand to win some great prizes in the cosplay competition.

Alongside the fourth edition of IGX in Mumbai, IGX is also expanding to a second city this year, with IGX Hyderabad – part of the Indiajoy initiative of the Government of Telangana – set to take place from December 2-4 at HITEX Exhibition Centre.
