Reporting to CEO Sanjeev Verma, Jai Venkat joins Black Box’s Executive Leadership Team in a strategic move to strengthen its go-to-market strategy and accelerate growth through high-impact leadership investments
Black Box, a prominent provider of digital infrastructure solutions, has announced the appointment of Jai Venkat as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for the Americas region. In this newly assumed role, Venkat will spearhead the company’s revenue strategy and execution, with a focus on accelerating growth, enhancing client relationships, and expanding revenue streams across all major industry sectors and service lines.
Reporting directly to CEO Sanjeev Verma, Venkat will also join the company’s Executive Leadership Team. His appointment marks a strategic move by Black Box as it sharpens its go-to-market approach and continues to invest in high-impact leadership roles to support business expansion.
The company emphasized that this leadership enhancement is part of a broader initiative to strengthen its presence across verticals and deliver increased value to its customers through more agile and scalable service delivery.

Venkat joins Black Box with more than three decades of experience leading sales, services, and transformation initiatives at global technology firms. Prior to joining Black Box, he held senior executive leadership roles at Allied Digital, Zones, DXC Technology, HP Enterprise, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys.
