Brief about MicroHard IT Solutions
MicroHard was founded in 1996 by me with a team of four people. The vision of the company is to provide the best IT Solutions with assurance and ownership. With a rich experience of 25 years in the field of IT Infrastructure and a team of 50+, MicroHard has earned a tag line of “Trusted IT Infrastructure Solutions Provider”. My journey with MicroHard began in Surat with business operations now expanding across Western India. We design, sell, implement and maintain the business-critical IT Infrastructure with the saying- “We do what we say, we own what we do”. This helps MicroHard achieve 100% customer satisfaction, 99% Customer Retention and grow the business at an average of 20 – 25% YoY. We are associated with the world’s best-known OEMs and carry Enterprise Level partnerships by Business Revenue, Skill Development, and Enablement of the team. Surat being a Diamond Manufacturing Hub, we cater our IT Infrastructure Solutions to 80% large Diamond manufacturers. Not limited to one domain, MicroHard has plenty of technical skills, and expertise and has developed the business in large enterprises, textile, BFSI, manufacturing, pharma, education, government, SMB, and SMEs.
How was the digital transformation journey and how has it aided the employees and customers?
After the acquisition of the commercial clients and System X portfolio from Lenovo, we continued investing to stay updated with the innovations and technological change. We continued our association with Lenovo as Premium Business Partner and Authorized Service Provider to tackle on-time spare and service delivery for remote areas like Surat. Our association with Lenovo as a Service Provider allows us to deliver the fastest support & resolution for any and every problem in customer’s IT Infra. Our team stays updated with modern technologies. We can now deliver & support digital transformation across the businesses of our customers. We understand customers’ business dependency on IT and their challenges and point them towards the right fit and future-proof solutions throughout their journey.
What are the core competencies and how do you plan to further develop your portfolio?
We understand the need and dependency on IT, and customers’ business processes. Our skilled, experienced, and certified team is competent in the design, deployment, and maintenance of all the modernized technologies based on Own Premise Private Cloud, Primary-Secondary Data Center Solutions, Enterprise Networking for Campus / Plant / Corporate Houses, Data Backup & Protection, Network, and Data Security, Monitoring and Management, VDI or Physical Workstations for Heavy Graphic Intensive applications.
What kind of services and solutions are provided to customers? Do you see a higher preference for a particular service or solution by them?
In our journey of 25 years, we never out-tracked our business line and always focused on what best we can do with the customer’s IT. In the past 3 to 4 years, we have completed more than 100 Modern DC Infra Projects. We have successfully completed and maintained 31 Infrastructure projects, 25+ Enterprise networking projects, 50+ Servers Consolidation and virtualization solutions on the platform of the world’s largest adopted hypervisor. We protect the data and provide security solutions on which our customers can rely. We are scaled to provide multi–site solutions, Disaster Recovery and Always on Server Infrastructure Solution. Servers’ high availability is definitely one important part for every business, but there are few businesses where the dependency on clients, like Desktops and Workstations, is attached with production. We are delivering the maximum uptime and fastest performance with Lenovo Think series of products. We are also well versed with the references on VDI as well as Work-from-anywhere in secure way solutions.
How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors?
Our approach to consulting the right and best fit solution, customer satisfaction, and retention ratio, focuses on technical skill development, long-term associations with OEMs, flexibility, customer-centric and team working as a family and ready to serve at any point of time. Delivering the service on time and providing proactive technical support makes us the first choice of customers. For High-End Graphical applications, the ThinkStation is delivering optimum performance with assured uptime. Lenovo helps with faster deployment, real-time monitoring & management of the System & Infrastructure. We have implemented Lenovo System X HANA Certified Solutions to our customers who benefited them with the right performance, Reduced TCO and Quality Services. Additionally, the investment is protected for customers buying additional hardware warranty extension services. Also, for high Graphical application users, mainly in Diamond Manufacturing Units, Tower to Micro helps our customers to place the right product without compromising on application performance needs and minimal downtime.
With the work situation going back to normal, what would be your long-term channel strategies?
Our well-established support ecosystem means none of our customers faced any technical support drawbacks during the pandemic. Our team has continuously served all our customers and invested in new learning. We paid 100% to all our employees during the pandemic and supported for any & every life necessity; which resulted in our team working with more force, dedication & new enhancements and we grew our business revenues and new customer acquisition. Our strategy was simple – understand customers’ requirements, address customer pain points, and give the right and best fit solution. We are developing our business areas with a focus on retention of existing customers and eyeing new large enterprise accounts.
