Netapp Announces Q3 Results 2013

NetApp has announced its results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013, which ended on January 25, 2013. 

 

NetApp revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2013 estimated to be in the range of $1.700 billion to $1.800 billion. Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 totaled $1.630 billion. Revenues for the same period a year ago totaled at $1.566 billion.

 

GAAP earnings per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2013 were estimated to be approximately $0.43 to $0.48 per share. NetApp estimates non-GAAP earnings per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2013 to be approximately $0.65 to $0.70 per share. The Q3 results highlighted that the share count for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2013 will increase to approximately 372 million shares.

 

During the third quarter of fiscal year 2013, NetApp extended its product and technology innovation leadership, strengthened its alliance ecosystem of strategic best-of-breed partnerships. NetApp also deepened its partnerships with industry leaders Cisco and Citrix, and announced a new integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Finally, NetApp became the official data storage provider of the NFL.
