Introduced just 10 days after the series debut, the Velvet Red Find X9 strengthens OPPO’s premium portfolio, delivering uniform flagship performance while addressing rising consumer interest in expressive design, attractive bank offers and expanded availability across major retail and e-commerce platforms
OPPO India has expanded its recently launched Find X9 Series with a new Velvet Red colour option for the Find X9, introduced just ten days after the series debuted in India on November 18. The company said the lineup has seen a strong early response, recording three times higher sales than the previous generation in its first week.
The Velvet Red variant is priced at ₹74,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, with sales beginning December 8 across the OPPO e-store, Flipkart and authorised retail partners. With bank offers, the effective price drops to ₹67,499, along with additional exchange benefits.

According to OPPO, the new colour option was added following high consumer demand for a more expressive design choice. The variant retains the same specifications as the Titanium Grey and Space Black versions, including the 7025mAh silicon-carbon battery, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, ultra-slim 1.15 mm bezel and Hasselblad co-engineered camera system powered by the LUMO Image Engine. The device also runs ColorOS 16 with upgraded AI features and privacy enhancements.
“The response to the Find X9 Series has been phenomenal,” said Peter Dohyung Lee, Head of Product Strategy at OPPO. “Velvet Red builds on that momentum by offering users a bold, distinct option.”
OPPO is extending launch offers including 10% cashback on leading bank cards, no-cost EMIs for up to 24 months, exchange bonuses through Cashify and Servify, and zero down-payment schemes via finance partners. Buyers of the Velvet Red edition will also receive a Black Gold Gift Box containing Enco Buds3 Pro+ and a premium case. The series includes a 180-day hardware defect replacement policy and complimentary three-month access to Google Gemini Pro.
