Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Textiles, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution Piyush Goyal launched a national single window system that will help domestic and global investors in getting regulatory approvals through the online portal, which currently hosts 18 central departments and nine states.
He said investors will get access to all solutions at one click of the mouse through end-to-end facilitation. This would bring transparency, accountability and responsiveness in the ecosystem and all information will be available on a single dashboard.
"Launch of National Single Window System, is a giant leap, towards making India Aatmanirbhar" said Piyush Goyal while Launching the facility.
He also said that the National Single Window Scheme (NSWS) will provide strength to other schemes such as Start-Up India, Make in India, PLI Scheme, etc. This single window portal will become a one-stop-shop for investors for approvals & clearances.
The portal will also provide a Know Your Approvals service to inform businesses about the details of all the approvals they need to obtain as well as a common registration form, document repository and e-communication module.
