
US President Joe Biden thinks that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government have a role to play in stopping cyberattacks on US businesses, the White House said.
President Biden will discuss the issue with Putin in this month's summit, said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. "We're in direct touch with the Russians to convey our concerns," Psaki added.
Washington has blamed a Russian hacking group over a ransomware attack that crippled meat processing giant JBS. JBS informed the White House the attack seemed to have come from cyber criminals based in Russia.
