Schneider Electric is leveraging its expertise in data center solutions to introduce the first publicly available AI data center reference designs in collaboration with NVIDIA.
Pankaj Sharma, Executive Vice President of Schneider Electric's Secure Power Division & Data Center Business, expressed excitement about unlocking the future of AI for organizations. He highlighted the collaboration with NVIDIA as a pivotal step towards overcoming data center infrastructure limitations and unleashing the full potential of AI.
In the initial phase of the collaboration, Schneider Electric will focus on developing reference designs tailored for NVIDIA accelerated computing clusters, catering to diverse AI workloads such as data processing, engineering simulation, and generative AI. These designs will incorporate high-power distribution, liquid-cooling systems, and simplified controls to ensure efficient deployment and reliable operation of extreme-density clusters.
Ian Buck, Vice President of Hyperscale and HPC at NVIDIA, emphasized the importance of providing organizations with the necessary infrastructure to harness the potential of AI. Through the collaboration with Schneider Electric, NVIDIA aims to drive innovation and digital transformation across industries.
