In order to expanding its product portfolio further in the Indian market, the electronics giant Sony has announced the launch of 9 new cutting-edge and revolutionary DSLT professional cameras, professional video cameras, compact cameras with a variety of lenses and accessories at the Consumer Electronics Imaging Fair (CEIF) 2013. It also marks the launch of some the most-awaited and innovative Full-frame Imaging sensor equipped products such as DSC-RX1, α99, NEX-VG900 and NEX-FS700K, amongst others.

NEX-VG900E, the interchangeable lens Full HD camcorder from Sony, provides the limitless power of Full-frame imaging with extensive manual controls and “seesaw” zoom lever (Auto Power Zoom). With a resolution of 24.3 effective mega pixels, the Sony-developed Exmor CMOS sensor inside the NEX-VG900E is around 40 times larger than the equivalent in ordinary consumer camcorders.
