Sony has unveiled its new VPL-BW120S Home Theatre Projector featuring power saving mode, standby mode and synchronized lamp and filter replacement cycle of 6000 hours.
Along with Built-in speakers the projector incorporates variety of other input options such as RGB, Composite, S-Video, RS-232C control input/output and audio ports.
Satoru Munetaka, Deputy General Manager, Professional Solution Division, Sony India,stated, “In India, home cinema projector demand is exponentially growing .To address this demand, we would like to propose home cinema viewing experience on big screen in more flexible way. Thanks to the uniqueness of this short distance projection, End User can enjoy unobtrusive large screen viewing up to 100 inches or even more with more free space. Whole Family entertainment is redefined for a better viewing experience.”
In addition, using 3LCD display technology, the VPL-BW120S is packed with output of 2600 lumens (on high lamp mode) at WXGA (1280 x 800) native resolution. It also claims a high contrast ratio of 4000:1 and 12-bit 3D gamma correction.
