Spark Minda ropes in Ashok Jade as Group Chief Information and Technology Officer

Former Shalimar Paints CIO Ashok Jade has now joined Spark Minda as Group Chief Information and Technology officer.

Prior to this new role, Ashok Jade served Shalimar Paints as CIO where he was responsible for driving enterprise-wide technology transformation and business growth using technology.

With a vast experience of above 20 years in digital transformation, Ashok has driving enterprise wide technology, strategic planning, change management and so on. He has previously worked with Videocon industries as Head-IT.

Spark Minda has a major presence in Global Automotive Industry and claims to be one of the top manufacturers of automotive components for the OEMs.

The US $645 Million Group, with a workforce of more than 17,000, caters to passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, scooter and off-road vehicle manufacturing in India.

Ashok holds an MBA degree in Information Technology. He has received multiple awards in technology for his contribution in various organisations.

Ashok Jade is also an Executive Committee Member of CIO Association (CIO KLUB), a non-profit association of Chief Information officers in India which works for welfare of CIO and technology leaders of industry.
