Tata Communications has announced the appointment of N Ganapathy Subramaniam (NGS) as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective March 14, 2025.
In an official regulatory filing, the company stated: "Based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors has appointed N Ganapathy Subramaniam (DIN: 07006215), Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director, as the Chairman of the Board, effective March 14, 2025." said the regulatory filing of the company.
NGS has had a distinguished 40-year career at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he held key leadership roles. He stepped down as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of TCS in May 2024.
