Vidyo has been honored as the winner of 2013 Video Conferencing Technology Leadership (VCTL) Award by Frost & Sullivan.
F & S reports that the ability for customers to embed Vidyo into their own web portals and service environments via Vidyo’s APIs has enabled innovative new solutions and service offerings from a variety of OEM partners including Google+ Hangouts, Ricoh, Nintendo and Philips.
In addition, F & S believe that Vidyo technology and product announcements like VidyoWay and the Executive Desktop System continue to build video conferencing a universal technology for visual communications.
Ashish Gupta, Vidyo’s CMO and SVP Corporate Development said, “We are honored to have received this recognition of our continued efforts to provide exceptional, affordable video conferencing that has created new markets not previously addressable by traditional technologies. Since Vidyo launched in 2008, we have been committed to changing the face of video conferencing; raising the bar set by incumbent providers by delivering superior value, accessibility, and scalability that is only available via Vidyo’s unique software platform. We are extremely proud to have been deemed a market leader by Frost & Sullivan, especially after such a rigorous evaluation.”
