Virtusa Corporation has bagged a major recognition. As per the latest update, the company has won a Silver Stevie Award for ‘Human Resources (HR) Department of the Year' in the 12th annual American Business Awards. Virtusa is one of seven companies to receive an award in the HR Department of the Year category. More than 3,200 nominations were submitted to the awards overall.

The American Business Awards honoured Virtusa for its commitment to being a "Millennial Enterprise" and for having gamification platforms at the core of its HR strategy. The company routinely uses non-formal recognition (RAVE) tactics for performance reviews, and it is the first in the industry to use talent analytics to drive improvements in what it calls the employee delight index (EDI) and HR leaderboards.
