WishTel has announced its offering in the affordable range of tablets, an 8-inch tablet, IRA Icon HD. Priced at Rs.12,999, IRA Icon HD is an 8” TFT LCD Multi-touch Capacitive Touch Screen that runs on Android 4.0 (Icecream sandwich) and is powered by 1.2 GHz processor with 1GB RAM. This tablet supports calling features 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and also comes with built-in stereo speakers and a microphone.

The tablet has a 1024*768 pixel full angle TFT LCD capacitive multi-touch screen and runs on Android 4.0 with 1.2 GHz processor and a non-standard 1GB of RAM. It is powered by built in 3G SIM. The tablet has an 8GB internal memory that can be expandable memory of up to 32GB and comes with 2.0-mega pixel rear and 0.3MP VGA front camera. It is capable of accepting and displaying HD content at 1080p using a component video or digital input as well as HDMI output. The tablet comes engineered with a 6000 mAh battery, which can give users browsing time of approximately 6 hours.
