Cyber threats grow more advanced every day, making true resilience the foundation for business growth and continuity. Organizations rely on their workloads to operate seamlessly in the cloud, at the edge and on-premises. To meet these demands, every workload must be invincible—fully protected, fundamentally secure and quickly recoverable. We empower organizations to close the gap between recovery readiness and the complexity of modern threats. With the latest PowerProtect portfolio enhancements, we set a new standard for cyber resilience, reinforcing our commitment to security, simplicity, and efficiency.
Continued evolution of PowerProtect Data Manager
The future demands solutions that are proactive, intelligent and always-on. By leveraging technology that stays ahead of threats, organizations can focus on innovation and move forward with confidence. The continued evolution of PowerProtect Data Manager delivers new capabilities designed to help you navigate this complex landscape.
Unified Dashboard for simplified management – Managing data across distributed systems can be challenging. A new unified dashboard provides centralized visibility across distributed systems. This capability consolidates monitoring across your environment into a single, intuitive view. You can reduce operational overhead and manage your data landscape with greater confidence, knowing you have a clear picture of your protection status at all times.
AI Assistant – Navigating complex tasks and preparing for compliance audits just got easier. The new AI Assistant delivers contextual guidance, intelligent navigation, and recommendations directly within the Data Manager UI. Whether you need to troubleshoot an issue or improve your configuration, this smart assistant helps you resolve problems faster and with greater ease. It empowers your team to focus on strategic initiatives rather than getting bogged down in routine maintenance.
Enhanced Anomaly Detection – Security is paramount. We have expanded our detection capabilities to identify anomalies in Dell PowerStore snapshots. This enhancement provides rapid insights into potential ransomware threats, strengthening your overall cyber resilience strategy. Additionally, the Anomaly Detection landing page within the Data Manager UI now provides a single space to monitor all anomaly signals across workloads, storage, and protection policies. By catching irregularities early, you can respond quickly and minimize the impact of potential attacks.

Like larger Data Domain appliances, the Data Domain DD3410 delivers advanced security while supporting a broad partner and software ecosystem. It is also supported in the PowerProtect Cyber Recovery vault.
Customers benefit from low power and cooling requirements, combined with industry-leading data reduction to improve cost and performance. The appliance offers flexible scalability, ranging from 8TB to 40TB in just 2U, allowing seamless growth as your needs evolve. Native integration with PowerStore ensures fast, efficient backups and restores without added complexity.
Data Domain storage efficiency: Setting the bar higher
PowerProtect Data Domain, the world’s most secure foundation for cyber resilience,¹ is setting a new benchmark in cyber resilience storage efficiency. Real-world data from customers using PowerProtect Data Manager shows that Data Domain consistently achieves an impressive 75:1 data reduction ratio.² This is recognized as the world’s best data reduction,³ helping organizations reduce storage costs while maintaining uncompromising protection and reaffirming Data Domain’s position as the leading solution for secure, efficient data backup and recovery.
PowerProtect Data Domain operating system
We continue to enhance the PowerProtect Data Domain Operating System to meet rigorous security standards. New compliance readiness enhancements ensure alignment with mandates and NIST requirements by supporting TLS 1.3. This update provides enhanced security and compliance readiness, giving you peace of mind that your infrastructure meets modern regulatory expectations.
PowerProtect Cyber Recovery and CyberSense
For PowerProtect Cyber Recovery and CyberSense, we are simplifying deployment to accelerate time to value. Cyber Recovery Essentials now offers pre-validated reference architectures and standardized configurations with minimal input requirements for seamless implementation. Additionally, the new Data Domain DD3410 is supported as a vault target, bringing enterprise-grade cyber recovery to sites with smaller capacity requirements. We also added enhanced analytics support for Oracle RAC with ASM to broaden PowerProtect Data Manager protection capabilities.
Resilience drives progress
Cyber resilience is no longer just an IT concern — it is a boardroom conversation vital for continuous business operations. Alongside security and simplicity, we emphasize total cost of ownership and efficiency to highlight the tangible value we bring to your organization. Together, we are building a future where resilience drives progress.
