OnePlus expands AI capabilities with ‘Plus Mind’ rollout for 13 series users

Available for free via the latest software update, Plus Mind is gradually rolling out to all OnePlus 13 and 13R devices, serving as a key element of OnePlus’s AI strategy to enhance productivity and personalization

OnePlus has officially started rolling out Plus Mind, its latest personal intelligence tool, for OnePlus 13 Series users around the world. Designed to help users manage content overload, Plus Mind simplifies the storage, organization, and retrieval of fragmented information using advanced AI technology.

Available for free through the latest software update, Plus Mind is being introduced gradually across all OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R devices over the coming weeks. The tool is positioned as a core component of OnePlus’s broader AI strategy focused on improving productivity and personalisation.

“OnePlus AI is all about helping you work smart and play harder,” said Arthur Lam, Director of OxygenOS and AI Strategy at OnePlus. “Plus Mind was specifically developed to act as a personal intelligence assistant, helping users remember everything in a secure and private way.”

Smart features with intuitive gestures

Plus Mind first debuted on the OnePlus 13s in June. While that device includes a dedicated Plus Key, the OnePlus 13 and 13R integrate Plus Mind through a simple gesture — a three-finger swipe upwards. This motion captures a wide range of content, including webpages, images, messages, and social media posts.

Once activated, Plus Mind instantly analyzes the content and recommends relevant actions — such as adding key dates to the calendar. All captured data is saved to Mind Space, a dedicated app that uses OnePlus AI to auto-tag, summarize, and even translate content based on context. Users can also retrieve stored information via natural language queries through the AI Search bar, accessible by swiping down on the home screen.

For instance, swiping up on an event poster triggers calendar suggestions and archives the information in Mind Space. Similarly, capturing a fashion site will prompt Plus Mind to summarize style elements, making it easier for users to revisit and act on the information later.

Expanding the OnePlus AI ecosystem

Plus Mind is the latest addition to OnePlus’s growing suite of AI tools. Earlier this year, the company announced its AI strategy, developed through global user feedback. The goal: to create devices that deeply understand and assist users in both work and personal life.

Additional AI features already released include:

·       AI VoiceScribe (India only): Records, summarizes, and translates meetings and calls.

·       AI Translation: Consolidates all translation methods into a single, user-friendly app.

·       AI Search: Enables natural language searches across files, notes, and settings.

·       AI Reframe: Offers creative photo composition options.

·       AI Perfect Shot: Enhances group photos by correcting facial expressions and blinks.

With Plus Mind and its expanding AI toolkit, OnePlus is aiming to redefine personal productivity through meaningful, user-centric intelligence.
